Job Description Job Description Staff-Up is seeking a
Horticulture Installer for a Plant Installation Company in
Sarasota, FL 34240. This is a full-time position working with a
team to create installs for plants, etc. at commercial building,
5-star hotels, etc. Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
(Possibly 7AM to 4PM for certain jobs) Pay Rate: $18HR
Horticultural Installation Technician The Horticultural
Installation Technician is responsible for the preparation and
delivery of all horticultural products (Plants) and seasonal décor
to our clients. On a structured schedule with an allotted time, the
Installation Technician makes deliveries throughout our service
region. Duties may include: Receive, unload and unpack plants and
other freight Select, clean and prepare plants for installation
routes Make deliveries of new installation work orders and or
replacement work orders Maintain installation and color kits Load
and unload delivery Vehicles Vehicle washing and maintenance
General property/facility maintenance On a seasonal basis assist
with delivery of holiday foliage and décor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must
know how to drive 16-foot box truck and have clean driving record
Must be able to lift 10 lb. water buckets and/or load and unload
50-75 lb. plants and containers throughout the day. Must be able to
climb ladders and have good dexterous use of both hands. Must be
able to use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses and other small
tools. Must be able to apply leaf cleaners and insecticides using
hand-held pump sprayers. Must have a satisfactory safe driving
record. Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and
have a neat and clean appearance. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
AND RELIABLE TRASPORTATION Job Type: Full-time Experience: plant
installation: 2 years (Required) Delivery driver: 1 year (Required
