Job Description:
Job Title: Medication Assisted Program
ManagerOverview:Responsible for supervision and management of all
functions related to the delivery of quality behavioral health
services for the target population (adults with mental health
and/or substance related disorders). Additional management
functions include program development, expansion and
design.Duties:Routinely works very closely with program
psychiatrist, ARNP, clinicians, nurse and all other team members to
ensure quality patient care is delivered.Successfully assists
leadership and team with preparation for external audits and
participate in audit processes.Works independently, cooperatively
and reliably within own department and with other services to
support the development and growth of the continuum of care and
collateral services.Meaningfully participates in planning
committees and work groups within SalusCare system.Capably
maintains current practice standards and knowledge in areas of
clinical supervision.Regularly provides clinical supervision of
staff as per SalusCare procedure and in accordance with CARF
guidelines.Upon request, productively assists other managers and
director with interviews, hiring, and discipline of MAT
staff.Consistently supervises orientation of new employees and
conducts meaningful appraisal of employees in an ongoing and timely
manner.Continuously supports the development and monitoring of
program budgets and is able to reliably analyze and implement
needed changes based upon findings.Steadily maintains compliance
with all mandatory training and minimal hours of in-service
training required by licensing agencies.Successfully and
effectively participates in and provides leadership in maintaining
compliance of all established policies, guidelines and procedures,
including state and federal regulations to assure safe practices
and quality patient care.Effectually provides ongoing leadership,
education, and mentoring related to MAT and substance abuse and
mental health treatment methods.Frequently monitors staff
productivity to ensure all standards are met. Follows up
appropriately according to SalusCare policies and
procedures.Reliably maintains compliance with Florida Baker Act,
Marchman Act, CFBHN, AHCA, Medicaid, Medicare, 65D-30, third-party
insurance, Lee County Human Service and United Way funding,
Department of Corrections, County Probation, SWFSC, DCF, and CARF
standards.Commendably develops and maintains systems that ensure
the timely and quality submission of all documentation requirements
for quality patient care and State and other monitoring group
requirements.Effectively oversees and ensures sufficient staffing
to meet patient needs.Consistently demonstrates strong customer
service and ensures that clinical staff provide appropriate
services to patients, being mindful of flexibility to these
patients and their schedules while ensuring appropriate
departmental flow.Unfailingly and independently demonstrates a
sound understanding of and commitment to CARF standards.Reliably
demonstrates and models attitudes and knowledge consistent with
co-occurring best-practice standards and ensures staff are trained
and practice accordingly.Consistently demonstrates cultural
sensitivity and ensures that staff incorporate cultural issues
throughout care (i.e. assessment, service planning, service
delivery, and discharge).Meritoriously assists with de-escalation
and management of challenging behavior as an active participant on
the Crisis Response Team (CRT).Successfully attains/maintains
competency with agency clinical computer software and use it
effectively within required time frame.Qualifications:- Master's
Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field-
Five years experience working with individuals with mental health
and substance abuse- One year supervisory experience- Excellent
attention to detail and accuracy in documentation- Strong
