About this roleThis role is for a senior individual contributor
in the Research Architecture and Methodologies team within
Gartner's Content Research Excellence organization. It is focused
on designing and evolving the core content architecture that
enables Gartner Research & Advisory (R&A) to deliver
actionable, objective insights to clients and to support business
growth, client engagement and retention.What you will be doing:
- Work with R&A, Product, and IT teams (and other functional
areas where applicable) to develop content and business
requirements that evolve the content architecture to support
R&A-led strategic content programs.
- Redesign the way we organize and deliver content to clients,
evolving from a conventional document-based system to a more
dynamic and modular approach using algorithms and artificial
intelligence.
- Deliver innovation and continuous improvement of the research
content portfolio, underlying architecture, and related processes
in alignment with R&A and Gartner business objectives.
- Maintain an excellent understanding of our Gartner products and
evolving client needs to support their journeys using our content
and the touchpoints with other channels (client inquiry calls,
interactive tools, conference attendance etc.)
- Lead execution of content initiatives from identification and
ideation, through design and creation, by leveraging best practices
in:
- Process design - design excellent processes and/or optimize
existing processes, using the convention of efficiency, simplicity,
scale, data leverage, and change management.
- Process execution - cost management, effective use of resources
and feedback in all processes, effective and timely issue
resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Work independently, as well as collaboratively, to achieve
results:
- Develop business cases and scope opportunities for
projects/programs to drive content innovation.
- Create and manage success measurement criteria and analysis to
drive continuous program improvement to ensure desired outcomes are
measured and met.
- Design and deliver communications and presentations to all
levels of management within and beyond R&A.
- Guide and matrix manage project teams; coach and mentor project
managers and team members for highly effective program
management.
- Support peer teams, sharing expert knowledge and providing
training where required.The results we are looking for:

- Delivery of visionary content strategies that maximize client
benefit for optimal cost using the latest technologies coupled with
innovative content architecture design.

- Extensive use of the latest technology, including AI, to
maximize efficiency and scalability.
- Excellent reporting, training and stakeholder communications to
ensure projects are continuously delivering on purpose and business
impact.What you will bring to the table:
- Experience working with and designing modular and componentized
content architecture(s) in a major global enterprise context.
- Solid understanding of the technology industry, major segments,
trends and technologies, and common vendors, products and solutions
used.
- Significant experience independently managing multifaceted
content programs, projects, and processes that demonstrate positive
business impact within a complex organization.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and improving business
processes with rigor and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability
to articulate complex concepts effectively with a broad spectrum of
roles and backgrounds across all levels of seniority.
- Excellent time management & prioritization skills to
effectively manage a diverse workload, multiple non-routine complex
projects and deliverables and priorities to meet ambitious
deadlines.
- Experience with relevant technologies and tools including
content management systems (CMS), metadata management, and taxonomy
development.
- Strong business acumen, able to see the big picture and make
principled tradeoffs to optimize outcomes.
- High fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in data and analytics, presenting consumable data
using charts and graphics tailored to the audience.
- Executive presence for interacting and presenting to senior
leaders and stakeholders.
- Potential travel to select Gartner events. Overall travel less
than 5%.The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Technology-centric thinking; understanding how to the use
technology (established or emerging, such as AI) to revolutionize
and challenge the status quo with proven results.
- Deep understanding of content as a product and an ability to
abstract the processes, architecture and governance of content from
delivery channels/formats.
- Knowledge of industry standard approaches to content
componentization and modularization.
- Demonstrated track record managing content and/or product
strategy programs.
- Experience working in a complex and fast paced global workforce
preferably in Research, Consulting, or Media industries.
- An understanding of a variety of research methods and their
application.
- Experience leveraging data and metrics to understand customers,
content, and/or product performance.
- Proven project management skills in agile

estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD -
164,220 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the
range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including,
but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional
achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base
salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan
based on company and individual performance, or a role-based,
