Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of acute care OR experience and active FL or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Position is in a hospital operating room setting - Full-time, 12-hour shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm - Includes variable on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time - Assignment length is 13 weeks - Duties include scrubbing and circulating for operative procedures and preparing the operating room for surgeries - Responsible for assembling equipment and ensuring necessary supplies and implants are available - Must adhere to aseptic techniques and consult with team members to assess and deliver intraoperative patient care - Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and the surgical team - Holiday coverage may be required per department needs Requirements - Active FL or compact RN license with no pending status - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - Minimum of two years' acute care operating room experience in a US hospital required - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only) required - BSN highly desired - Must provide two managerial or supervisory references, with at least one from the most recent employer - Must have a valid Social Security Number, driver's license, and be able to provide proof of COVID and flu vaccination if required - CPI certification mandated by position - Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates permitted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-659698.
