Job Description:
Lee Health is actively seeking licensed pharmacists to join our
dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Southwest Florida. As a
key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in
delivering high-quality care by managing safe and effective
medication therapies for our patients. You will have the
opportunity to work across various settings in our hospitals and
clinics, contributing to a healthier community through skilled
medication management, patient education, and teamwork. Dispense
prescribed medications to patients. Consult with healthcare
providers on medication therapy management. Educate patients on
proper medication usage and potential side effects. Monitor patient
medication regimens to identify and prevent adverse reactions.
Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy service
programs. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy
documentation. Comply with all regulatory requirements pertaining
to pharmacy practice. In-depth knowledge of pharmacological and
therapeutic implications of drugs. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to make critical decisions regarding
medication use. Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida or eligible
for licensure. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or
other relevant specialty is advantageous.
