Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year A bit about us: Our client is
seeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join
their team in Sarasota, providing litigation support throughout
Florida. The role involves managing a diverse and engaging caseload
in complex litigation from start to finish. Ideal candidates have
experience in construction, financial services defense, or real
property litigation, as well as strong written and oral advocacy
skills. Candidates should be comfortable drafting pleadings,
motions, discovery, handling depositions and dispositive motions.

Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include: 1.
Managing all aspects of complex litigation cases from inception
through to resolution. 2. Drafting pleadings, motion papers, and
appellate briefs, and arguing motions in both state and federal
courts. 3. Conducting and managing discovery, including taking and
defending depositions. 4. Representing clients in mediations,
arbitrations, and trials. 5. Collaborating with partners,
associates, and clients to develop litigation strategies. 6.
Conducting legal research and analysis to advise clients on
potential litigation risks and outcomes. 7. Maintaining up-to-date
knowledge of the construction industry, including changes in laws
and regulations. 8. Providing exceptional client service and
maintaining strong client relationships. Qualifications: 1. A Juris
Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. Must be a member
in good standing of any state bar. 3. A minimum of 3-5 years of
experience in commercial/complex litigation. 4. Strong experience
in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions,
motion practice, and trial. 5. Excellent legal research,
analytical, and writing skills. 6. Strong negotiation skills and
the ability to resolve disputes efficiently. 7. Exceptional client
service skills with the ability to interact with clients in a
professional manner. 8. The ability to work independently as well
as collaboratively in a team environment. This is a fantastic
