Position Summary: The Account Director is primarily responsible for internal communication of results with team members but may be asked to communicate directly with clients in support of the Program Director as needed.   Account Directors are accountable for client satisfaction and client retention through the successful coordination, completion, and delivery of client programs.  

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Position will provide team leadership and peer mentorship to Account Managers. May provide training or support for any of the team needs.   May represent the team in cross functional meetings.
  • Accountable for developing strong senior level client relationships based on trust, collaboration, and value.
  • Will work with client and multiple internal departments to ensure the smooth running of programs, from gathering requirements from the Client, to planning and organizing campaigns, to communicating the correct information to all members of the internal team, to facing Clients and reporting on program status, insights, and recommendations as a result of the program.
  • The Account Director will assist with the development of organic growth within existing programs. - Arranging meetings and liaising with clients to understand their requirements

 

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • First class organizational skills
  • A pro-active approach to creative projects
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite at a intermediate/Advanced level.
  • Experience with Salesforce a huge +++ - Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms -
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook - A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport - The confidence to give clients trust in your work  

 

Education and Experience:

  • BS/B.A. in relevant field of study required.
  • Prefer four-five years of direct experience in marketing communications, channel marketing or program marketing.
  • Must possess successful customer service and customer relations experience.
  • Experience Healthcare, Education or Facilities (restaurant/hotel) Industry is a plus.
