We are searching for a Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our Process Optimization team located at the LCEC Business Office in North Fort Myers, Florida. This role is responsible to build strong and effective relationships with management and stakeholders and serve as a key contributor in a cross functional environment to identify and implement opportunities for process optimization in support of strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

* Passionate about playing a critical role in driving continuous improvement cycle thinking * Capable of growing the team to match the needs of the business * Excellent collaboration and communication skills * Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent demonstrated experience utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and methodologies to obtain significant business results) * Demonstrated experience in analyzing, redesigning and/or automating complex business processes * Experience facilitating workshops and teams * Ability to work with all levels of an organization * Experience leading or facilitating projects in collaboration with IT all the way through to completion * Demonstrated success working with front-line teams and leaders to solve complex business problems * Experience with analysis of business application functionality and configuration * Previous experience in the utilities industry is ideal

The candidate responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Participates in the implementation of the continuous improvement strategy and program: Contributes to define program parameters; identifies areas of improvement; implements a deployment plan for the continuous improvement program; ensures the plan's follow-up; evaluates performance of the improvements; ensures process compliance. * Improves processes, helps institutionalize standard work: Identifies opportunities for improvement and defines the issues and gaps between the current state and desired state or standard; considers 'as is' process and identifies the prioritized problem through robust analysis; reviews performance measures and works cross-functionally to identify root cause; recommends and assists teams through implementation of countermeasures and solutions; monitors and measures observed improvements; develops reports and close out documentation with handoffs for sustainment. * Manages continuous improvement initiatives: Defines continuous improvement needs tied to balanced scorecard objectives; identifies team members and ensures role clarity for each person; plans activities; works cross-functionally to ensure corrective measures are identifies and implements on identified problems and performs follow-up. * Advises and mentors employees: Ensures the management of changes; proposes solutions to achieve objectives; facilitates the implementation of continuous improvement; supports employees across business units and the management team. Identifies training needs, provides training and facilitation.

Required Qualifications Level I:

* High School Diploma or GED * Previous experience in functional support * Proficiency in MS Office Suite * Basic knowledge of LCEC's flagship business applications with the ability to provide support for routine work or similar experience with other enterprise wide business system * Display a basic understanding of the business as well as how departments work together within a Division * Ability to understand and document business processes and functions sufficient to identify and define business requirements

Required Qualifications Level II:

* AS Degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) * Previous experience in analytical and functional support * Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite * Working knowledge of LCEC's flagship business applications with the ability to provide support for day to day work as well as the ability to troubleshoot or escalate issues, when needed * Display a broad understanding of the business as well as how business practices impact various departments and Divisions * Demonstrate a detailed understanding of business processes and functions sufficient to identify and define business requirements and contribute ideas in support of process improvements * Ability to utilize a systematic discipline and analytical approach to resolve business problems in both routine and unique situations

Required Qualifications Sr.:

* BS Degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) * Six Sigma Green Belt Business Process Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and methodologies to obtain significant business results * Minimum five (5) years of experience in analytical and functional support * Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (specifically excel and Visio) * In depth understanding of LCEC's flagship business applications to include functional potentials of those systems * Display an in depth understanding of the business as well as how business practices impact various departments and Division with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements * Ability to utilize a systematic discipline and analytical approach to resolve business problems; proactively recognize and resolve complex issues that may have a significant business impact * Demonstrated experience with business process redesign

Desired Qualifications all Levels:

* Six Sigma Black Belt Business Process Management Certification * Experience in Utilities industry
